Apple unveiled as you probably already know the iPad mini a couple of days ago along with a few other nice “toys”:
- The new iMac which I believe was the most thrilling product presented.
- New mac mini that absolutely has to be, but is not a product that I personally have no need for.
- New Macbook Pro 13 “with a Retina display. Good for those who want performance but in a small format.
What surprised me most was that in addition to these Apple products also update the full-sized iPad now after that “not so new” iPad has been on the market for almost 7 months.
I have a habit to always feel safe when buying Apple products because I can be sure that I always have the last at least 12 months ahead. But in this case, I have since then already 7 months after I picked up my latest iPad already has a product been discontinued?
I have not ever experienced a single problem with my “new” iPad so I do not want to complain about its functionality, but I feel slightly bitter, slightly cheated and slightly dejected.
Should I sell my iPad to get a faster processor and a smarter solution for charging? Should I wait for the iPad 5 before I upgrade me and pretend while inside that I still have the latest in surf flat world?
Maybe I’m the only one with these thoughts, but I could not help but sniff these issues with you readers, what do you own?
Is this an unnecessary update and there is a possibility that Apple could actually lose customers to come up with an upgraded version of the iPad, so this pass soon?
Not only one iPad – but two new iPads
was released during the presentation yesterday from Apple.
A completly new iPad mini was released that fits your hand perfectly. But Apple wasn’t done with that, they also presented an updated iPad 4 that will replace iPad three this coming spring.
The main audience in California Theatre, San José, was there to see the new iPad Mini presented and find out more about it and iPad Mini Price. Tablets have become a big part for Apple this last couple of years.
More than 15 million iPad has been sold in the US alone as of January 2012 and it’s continue to climbing rapidly.
Many competitors have chosen to design and produce smaller tablets to compete with Apple, but now, Apple have tried to fix that problem and cover the hole market in different tablet styles.
With an improved system and better camera in the new iPad.
Today, Apple have got over 700 000 apps in the app store. All of them can be runned in your iPad but 275 000 are special made for the bigger tablets, (iPad 3 and upcoming iPad 4).
“Twice as speed”
The iPad mini has got a 7,9″ screen with the same resoultion as the iPhone 5 and iPad 3. The last iPad that was released 6-7 months ago has already been replaced with an iPad 4. Or the fourth genertation ipad as they like to call it.
When everyone attendedwas “only” expecting a new, thinner and smalle iPad, did Apple choose to increase the speed in their previous 9,7″ tablet.

About iPad 4
The iPad 4 has got a A6x-processor that has twice the speed as the old iPad 3. But the iPad 4 price will be very similar to the previous ipad version, so wait for it to be released in your store! On Apple.com they are going to sell iPad mini, iPad 4 and the iPad 2. Which means they have decided to scrape the previous three.
Both models will be available during November.

Mac Mini
Apple’s smallest computer, the Mac Mini is updated with new specifications. Mac Mini released two new models with either 2.5 GHz dual-core i5 Ivy Bridge processor, 4 GB RAM and 500 GB HDD for $599 or 2.3 GHz Core i7 Ivy Bridge, 4GB of RAM and dual 1 TB hard drives $999.
Both models have been updated with four USB 3.0 sockets, HDMI connector and SD card reader.
iMac
In addition to the Macbook Pro and Mac Mini, Apple has also updated the iMac with Intel’s Ivy Bridge Core i5 and i7 processors. From the 2009 model year, the iMac 2012 a border that is only 5 mm thick.

On Tuesday, Apple is organizing an event where the media expect the iPad Mini, new Mac models and an updated version of the iPad 3 will be shown. A couple of days ago, we wrote that the iPad 3 may be updated with lightning-contact. Now we can show images on an iPad 3 with just lightning-contact!
The blog ApplePro who has published a picture of an updated version of the third-generation iPad with lightning-contact. Just as we mentioned yesterday, the update of the iPad 3 will be small, which reinforces the image. In addition to a new lightning-contact image reveals no other news.

October 17, the day when many thought that Apple would hold an event. Later, AllThingsD reported that it was on October 23 that Apple would hold the event – something that proves to be.

A couple of weeks back we heard that Crazy Taxi was releasing to the new iOS. It’s a game from Nintendo 64 which is all about transporting customers with a chosen Taxi as fast as possible to a location. You’ll be reward with crazy jumps and by the time. The orginal devolpers of this game, SEGA, did release this game back in -99 but have now done a iPad, iPhone & iPod version of it.
The game from SEGA has already within the list of Editors Choice in the iTunes App Store. A solid buy, in our opinion.
October 10 was the day when we expected that invitations to an iPad Mini event would be sent out to selected writers in the United States. When the invitations didn’t happend many rumors appeard saying that the iPad Mini would not be presented at all.
But today, AllThingsD reveal that iPad Mini in particular will be presented only that the first date of the presentation was incorrect. On October 23 is now the date where Apple is expected to introduce a new model of the iPad. Another break in the trend since Apple tends to introduce new products on Wednesday, while October 23 is a Tuesday.
Even Theloops Jim Damrymple have commented the new rumor, and responded with a simple “Yep.” Theloop has previously been shown to have contact with people who have insight into Apple’s business and is therefore considered to be a probable source.
Earlier this week, the first deliveries of the new iPod Touch was shipped. In addition to a new generation of iPod Touch has also the iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle been updated.

According to an article in The Guardian, the iPad Mini will be the first iPad that only supports Wi-Fi, while an updated version of the iPad 3 will support LTE (4G) in Europe. Charles Arthur at the The Guardian writes in his article that the reason the iPad Mini may be launched without 3G/4G support is because of the price of production, in order to be able to offer iPad Mini at a competitive price.
Both Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire says be (according to iMore) the main competitors for the iPad Mini, which both lack support for data networks. Not having the support of data networks on = cheaper iPad Mini.This could be a brave move for Apple to get consumers to continue buying the iPad 3 to get the 3G/4G.
WSJ (Wall Street Journal) has received information that Apple would have placed an big order for 10 million iPad Mini. The units will be produced in the fourth quarter to meet the demand that Apple expects the new iPad Mini demand.
In an article in the Wall Street Journal’s website says that a number of Asian companies have leaked information regarding an order from the Apple site. Enterprises manufactures components for iUnits and is therefore considered to have insight into Apple’s business.
From the article – “Some component suppliers to Apple in Asia say they have received orders to make more than 10 million units of the smaller tablets in the fourth quarter.”
Just like when the iPhone 5 was presented, Apple are going to send out an invitation to the iPad event, which according to sources, will be today (October 10th).
